Difference between ‘market chain’ and ‘value chain’

In interpreting the difference between market chain and value chain we would take a Zulu stance that says:

Bonke abadlali bezindima kusuka kumlimi kuya kubakhiqizi, kuya kubathengisi njalonjalo, kunabantu abadlala indima yabo eqhubekisa umqondo wokusebenza kweketanga ngoba umqondo olandelayo wakhelwe phezu kolandelwayo. Akukhathalekile ukuthi umlimi uthengisa ekhaya noma ngaphandle kwezwe lakhe. Into esemqoka ukuthi bonke labo abathintekayo nabathintwa yisivuno kusuka kumlimi kuze kufike kumthengi wokugcina othengela ukudlisa isisu sakhe nomndeni wakhe, kufanele kubekhona ubudlelwane nokuthuthukisana ngolwazi oluqondene nalesivuno seCHABUTHI. Loku kukhuthaza ukuthembana nokusekeleka kokukhangiswa kwesivuno. isiZulu is Long-winded

I find it interesting that isiZulu will have more than three words in translating one word. The challenge for me is that most of us (in my age group) learnt most of these words from word-of-mouth sources and I find myself having to explain to a Zulu person what I mean when I'm actually speaking in pure undiluted Zulu.

I am fascinated all the time when I teach isiZulu to a foreign person. I start by saying Sawubona, then they say "That's Hello, right?" with tongue-in-cheek I go "No, it means, WE SEE YOU, and we acknowledge your presence" and they go "Who is we?" then I have to scare them and say "Me and my ancestors...."

But on a serious note, translating isiZulu means you need five pages to translate one page of English to isiZulu....

Demand and Supply

I do not know one or two words in isiZulu that refer to Supply and Demand. I have consulted abadala to translate or even interpret the concept because I need to complete the translation of training materials from English to isiZulu to develop capacity of emerging businessmen in rural settings who can only read and write in isiZulu.

Seeing that demand speaks to the magnitude of needs associated with the product or service we are seeking, and the supply would be in response to the perceived need, I therefore think it makes sense to say demand is ISIDINGO ESEVILE and supply would refer to the availability of the product or service being supplied, so, I think I will be understood if I said ISDINGO ESEVILE SEMPAHLA.

A forest is IHLATHI and forests, AMAHLATHI, Permaculture pertains to sustainable  agriculture which is related to traditional and/ or natural (if there was such), so, therefore, I refer to Agro-forestry and Permaculture as Ezengxubehlathi Nemvelo

Kuloluhlelo sibona abalimi betshala izihlahla amahlokozi kanye nezitshalo ezithilie ezingunaphakade. Isibonelo silapha ezindaweni zaseAfrika lapho abalimi betshala izihlahla ezinde bese betshala ikhofi besefuthi kubakhona izitshalo zemifino njengogaligi phakathi kwemigqa yekhofi. Lapha inhloso ukubhekelela impilo yezitshalo esithile esithola umsoco waso kahle uma sivikeleke esimweni sezemvelo esithile esiletha ukuhlukumezeka esitshalweni.  Iyancomekake lendlela ekuvikelekeni kwezifo.
